Bio
I am a storyteller. It has always been central to who I am, whether when I taught English in schools, or now, when I write screenplays, features or reviews. Stories bring us together and the storyteller's role in communicating the universal feelings and emotions we all experience has always interested and excited me.
I spent a decade teaching English full time in secondary schools which I enjoyed. After ten years, I made a decision to follow my dreams, which consisted of studying for an MA and then attempting to forge a career in the arts as both a writer and performer.
I was selected as one of the recipients of the Middle Child theatre critics award, which led to me receiving training from estalished theatre critics. From there I have written for Exeunt Magazine and The Stage UK.
During the lockdown, I created a satirical character, Black Boris, as a way to make commentary on the government and its response to the global health crisis. This led to me secuing a role as a writer and actor on Charlie Brooker's latest project, "Death to 2020", released on Netflix in December 2021.
I'm currently working on my first screenplay as well as writing theatre reviews and features. Please get in touch if you would like to know anymore.
